Memory Capsule is run by James Hollis. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights. Questions: hello@example.com.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Session details: the IP address and browser used for each signed-in session, to keep your account secure.
• Billing details: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer reference and what you bought, never your card details.
• Usage events: a record of key actions (such as creating an account or upgrading) to help us improve Memory Capsule.

Who processes it

• Stripe, for payments.
• Resend, to send account emails such as email confirmation and password reset.
• Vercel and Neon, which host the service and its database.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account from the Account page, your personal data is deleted straight away; usage events are kept without anything that identifies you. Stripe keeps payment records as required by law.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to how we use it. Email hello@example.com and we'll respond within one month.
